Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use CleanInvoice at cleaninvoice.com.au. CleanInvoice is operated by Sophie R Cleaning, ABN 19 949 501 600 (“we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
2. Using CleanInvoice
You may use CleanInvoice to create and manage invoices, clients, expenses and related business records. You must not use the service unlawfully, attempt to interfere with its security, access another user’s data, upload malicious material or misuse the service in a way that harms other users or our systems.
3. Your business information
You remain responsible for checking the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of invoices and records you create. This includes invoice numbers, ABN and GST information, client details, payment instructions, amounts and due dates.
4. Not professional advice
CleanInvoice provides general record-keeping and invoicing tools. It does not provide accounting, taxation, legal or financial advice. If you are unsure about GST, deductions, NDIS requirements or another obligation, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional or the relevant government authority.
5. Free and Premium plans
The Free plan may have usage and customisation limits shown within the service. Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe using the billing cycle selected at checkout. Current pricing and inclusions are shown before payment. You may cancel a subscription, with access continuing as described at cancellation or checkout and subject to any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep CleanInvoice available and reliable, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, improve, change or discontinue features. Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that negatively affect paid users.
7. Your data and privacy
You retain ownership of the business content you enter. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Backups and exports
Although account data may be stored and synced, you should keep copies of records required for your business, tax or legal obligations. Available export or backup features are provided for convenience.
9. Intellectual property
CleanInvoice’s software, branding, design and original site content belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service except where the law permits.
10. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including rights under Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service, reliance on generated records, incorrect information entered by a user, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
11. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment or respond to a serious breach of these terms. You may stop using CleanInvoice at any time.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, subject to applicable law.
